RESOLUTIONS. 1845.

ed to pay to Lawrence A. Dawson, Auditor of Mont-
gomery county court, or to his order, the sum of eigh-
teen dollars and sixty-six and two-third cents, it being
the amount of his fees for stating accounts in three cases
in said court, at March term 1845, in which cases the
State of Maryland was plaintiff, and Henry Harding,
administrator of Thomas F. W. Vinson, was defendant,
and also for staling an account in a case in said court, at
the same term in which case the State of Maryland was
plaintiff, and William O. Chappell and Lucinda R. Lilly,
administrators of Henry Lilly, were defendants.

Resolution authorising the Treasurer to contract with
Captain Turner of the Steam Boat Osiris, &c.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of this State, is hereby directed to con-
tract with Captain Turner of the Steamboat Osiris, for
the removal of a large same opposite the Bodkin Light
House, and pay him for the same a sum not exceeding
twenty-five dollars.

9, 1846.

Resolution authorising the Treasurer to receive from the
Commissioner of Loans, coupons to be cancelled un-
der the resolution number eight, passed December
session, eighteen hundred and forty.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer be, and he is hereby authorised and re-
quired to receive from the commissioner of loans, for
the purpose of being cancelled, coupons to the amount
of the error shown by the report of the committee ap-
pointed at December session, eighteen hundred and forty
four, in pursuance of the provisions of resolution num-
ber eight of December session, eighteen hundred and
forty, to have occurred in the issuing of certificates of
interest upon the deposite of coupons, and -which the
said committee declined to receive and destroy for the
reasons stated in their report.
