1845. RESOLUTIONS.

Resolved, That the Treasurer pay the members of the
committee the sum of four dollars for each and every day
in which they shall be engaged in the discharge of their
duty; and two dollars for every twenty miles they shall
travel by the usual route in going to and returning from
the performance of said duty.

Resolution authorising the Governor to settle and adjust
the account of John H. Alexander.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Governor be, and he is hereby authorised to adjust
and settle the account of John H. Alexander, esquire, as
agent appointed by this State, under resolution number
fifty-four, of December session, eighteen hundred and
forty-two, and that all further proceedings under the said
resolution and appointment, be and the same are hereby
suspended until the further order of this General As-
sembly; and that the Governor be authorised to draw up-
on the Treasurer for such sum as may be required to carry
this resolution into effect.

Resolution in favor of James Coulter.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore be, and he is hereby
authorised and required to pay to James Coulter sixty
dollars, out of any money unappropriated in the treasury,
for services rendered to the House of Delegates.
