CHAPTER 300.

CHAP. 302.

An act to authorise the Trustees of the Parsonage of the
Methodist Episcopal Church, in the Town of Hamp-

stead, Carroll County, to held certain lands.

9, 1846.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

That Amos Cox, John M. Armacost, Nicholas Algier,
George Foster, Joseph Ebaugh. Joshua Typton, Henry
Ports and John Fauble of Frederick, or their successors,
be and they are hereby authorised to hold in fee simple
or any less estate, any quantity of land not exceeding
five acres, for the use of the Hampstead Parsonage and
Church of the Methodist Episcopal Church, of the town of
Hampstead, Carroll county, and for no other purpose;
and all acts and parts of acts, inconsistent with this act,
be and the same are hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 301.

Repealed.

An act to regulate the publication of the proceedings of the
Levy Court of Frederick County.

Passed Mar.
9, 1846.

SECTION 1. Be it, enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That from and after the passage of this act,
it shall be the duty of the levy court of Frederick county,
to advertise for proposals to do the necessary printing
of said levy court, and if a majority of the publishers of
newspapers in said county, shall agree to publish at one-
half of the prices now or recently charged, the levy court
shall publish in all such papers, but they shall not pub-
lish in more than two papers if required to pay the full
usual charge, one of each political party, Whig and De-
mocrat.

To advertise
for proposals.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all laws inconsistent
with this act, be and the same are hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 302.

Repealed.

An act for the incorporation of the John Hancock Division,
Number Seventeen, of the Sons of Temperance, of the
City of Baltimore, and State of Maryland.

Maryland, That Sidnor S. Donaldsen, John W. Hall,
Richard Fonder, Joseph H. Boyd, Landrum Deets, James
