CHAP. 278
Appointed
trustee.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Thomas Hayward, esquire, be and he
is hereby appointed a trustee to sell the said real estate
above described, to the said John Gore, if he shall deem
the price agreed to be given, by him to be fully adequate
to the value thereof, or to expose the same to public
sale, to the highest and best bidder, as he may deem to
be best, and in either case, an adequate conveyance to
give for the same.

To file bond.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said Thomas
Hayward, before he acts in the premises, shall file a bond
in the penally of one thousand dollars with one or more
securities, to be approved by any one of the judges of
the fourth judicial district of Maryland, conditioned for
the faithful performance of his duties as trustee as afore-
said, and also for the faithful surrender to the guardian
of the said Eleanor Eugenia Barrow, of such balance as
may remain in his hands, after the payment of the debts
of the said Anne E. M. Hudson, or to the said Eleanor
Eugenia Barrow, when she shall be of lawful age, to re-
ceive the same, or in case of her death, to her heirs and
legal representatives.

An act for the incorporation of Covenant Lodge, number
thirty-seven, of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows,
Hancock, Washington County, Maryland.

Incorporated.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That George W. Grosh, Eliada Tuttle, Jo-
seph Murray, John D. H. Cunningham, Samuel Oliver,
and others, the officers and members of Covenant Lodge,
number thirty-seven, of the Order of Independent Odd
Fellows, attached to the Grand Lodge of Maryland, and
their successors, be and they are hereby incorporated
and made a body politic and corporate, by the name and
number of Covenant Lodge, number thirty-seven, of the
Independent Order of Odd Fellows, of the State of Ma-
ryland; and by that name may sue and be sued, and have
a common seal, and the same, at their pleasure, alter, and
be entitled to use the powers and privileges incident to
such corporation.
