CHAP. 209.

Trustees of
the poor to
furnish com'rs
with receipts
and expendi-
tures.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the trustees of the
poor for said county, shall furnish said commissioners
with a correct statement of all their receipts disburse-
ments and expenditures relating to the institution or in-
stitutiotis for the poor in said county; and if the commis-
sioners appointed under an act, entitled an act to provide
for the relief of the poor and indigent persons in Somer-
set county, shall so far deem it expedient and proper for
the benefit of the inhabitants of said county, as to carry
into effect the provisions under that act; then the said
trustees of the poor shall furnish the commissioners of
Somerset county, with a full and particular statement of
all their receipts and expenditures, together with a report

of the general condition of the farm and management of
the same, the number of persons in their employ as ap-
pears, or labourers, the compensation allowed to each
separately, the amount of agricultural produce arising
from said farm, the probable amount of surplus arising
therefrom, if any, after expenses are paid, or if a de-
ficiency, how much; the number of poor and indigent
persons under their care, the number entirely incapable
of labour, the number of out-pensioners, if any, their
names, and what is allowed to each, the general condi-
tion of the inmates of the institution under their man-
agement, as it respects health and good morals, and all
other matters relating thereto, which said trustees may
in any way think interesting and necessary to be known.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the said trustees of
the poor shall furnish the commissioners of Somerset
county, annually, with the above statement, at such time
as shall be by said commissioners required, so as to en-
able them to have it published at the time specified in
this act, directing them to publish a statement of their
receipts and expenditures.

CHAPTER 209.

2, 1846.

An additional supplement to an act to provide a sum-
mary mode of recovering the possession of Lands and
Tenements, field by tenants for years or at will, after the
expiration of their terms, passed at November session,
seventeen hundred and ninety-two, chapter forty-three.

Time extend-
ed.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the provisions of the act, passed at No-
vember session, seventeen hundred and ninety three,
