lot and dwelling, and to make a good and sufficient deed
for the same, the said Jacob Flook of John, and Henry
Smeltzer, Sen., to dispose of said property, upon such
terms as to them may seem most advantageous, and the
money arising from the same, to be applied in the man-
ner described in the first section of this act, and for no
other purpose whatsoever.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That all acts, inconsistent
with this act, be and they are hereby repealed.

An act to authorise and direct the Moderator and other
Commissioners of Hagerstown to appropriate a sum,
not exceeding eight hundred, for the purchase of an En-
gine, &c., for the use of the Junior Fire Company of
that place.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the passage of this act, the modera-
tor and other commissioners of Hagerstown, be and they
are hereby authorised and directed to purchase with any
unappropriated funds in their hands, as commissioners
aforesaid, a Fire Engine and apparatus, not to exceed in
cost the sum of eight hundred dollars, for the use of the
Junior Fire Company of Hagerstown.

of Baltimore County, further time to complete their
collections.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That John W. Shankling and George M.
Hiss, collectors of taxes in Baltimore county, be and
they are hereby authorised and empowered to collect all
taxes or balances of taxes due them, as collectors of tax
in the several districts for which they were appointed as
collectors of tax in said county, in the same, manner and
with the same power and privileges which they might
have done within the time limited by law; provided, that
