CHAP. 162.

officers and managers of the said corporation, shall at
all times, jointly and severally, be liable and responsible
for any and every debt incurred by the said corporation
during his term of service, unless his disapprobation of
the measure be recorded upon the minutes of proceed-
ings at the time when such debt or obligation is incurred;
and provided further, that the General Assembly of Mary-
land, may at any time hereafter repeal this act.

CHAPTER 162.

An act to make valid the acts and proceedings of the Trus-
tees of Primary School in District Number Seventeen
of Queen Anne's County, and for other purposes.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, it is represented to this General Assembly
that doubts are entertained, whether the trustees of Pri-
mary School, number seventeen, are authorised to act in
conformity with the provisions of the act of the General
Assembly, passed at December session eighteen hundred
and thirty-three, chapter one. hundred and ten; and
whereas, a majority of the male taxable inhabitants of
the said school district, by memorial, have prayed this
General Assembly to pass a law, to confirm and make va-
lid the acts and proceedings of the trustees aforesaid, as
well as the acts and proceedings of their predecessors
in office, and to authorise the said trustees and their suc-
cessors in office to act in conformity with the provisions
of the said act of Assembly of eighteen hundred and
thirty-three, chapter one hundred and ten, called the Pi-
ney Neck Primary School law for Queen Anne's county
— therefore,

Confirmed and
made valid.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That all the acts and proceedings of the trus-
tees of primary school, in district number seventeen, of
Queen Anne's county, as also of their successors, as well
as of their predecessors in office, be and are hereby con-
firmed and made as valid and binding in law, as if the
aforesaid Piney Neck Primary School law, passed at De-
cember session eighteen hundred and thirty-three, chap-
