1645.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the lines of the seventh election district of Carroll
county shall run with the county road called the Nicode-
mus road, to Morgan's run, thence up said run to the cen-
tre of the county road leading from the Stone Meeting
House to the Washington road, then by the centre of
said road to the said Washington road.

An act to incorporate the Saint Alphonsus Roman Catho-
lic diebesband, in the City of Baltimore.
WHEREAS, John G. Fledderman, Willam Weber,
Johann Albert, William Mualler, Heinnrich Schmalbrock,
Gerhard Debring, Joseph Kuhn, and Martin Friedrich, of
the city of Baltimore, have by their petition to this Gen-
eral Assembly, set forth that they and others have formed,
themselves into a beneficial society, for mutual relief, and
have prayed to be incorporated; therefore,

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the said John G. Fleddermann, William Webber,
Johann Albert, William Mualler, Heinrich Schmalbroch,
Gerhard Debring, Joseph Kuhn, and Martin Friendrick,
their associates and successors, be, and they are hereby

name, shall have perpetual succession, sue and be sued,
implead, and be impleaded; and shall have power and
authority to make and use a corporate seal; to have, hold,

income of the said society, from its property and estate,
shall not exceed the sum of One thousand dollars, and all
beyond that amount shall be forfeited to the use of this

laws for its rue and government; and do and perform all
other acts and things usual and proper in similar cases;
