An act to allow James Morris and Milton Welsh, further
time to complete their collections.
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That James Morris and Milton Welsh, col.
lectors of the second and third collection districts of How-
ard District of Anne Arundel county, be and they are
hereby authorised and empowered to collect any taxes or
balances of taxes now remaining clue to, and uncollected
by them in the districts aforesaid, in the same manner and
with the same power and privileges, as are allowed by the
existing laws in said cases made and provided.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the aforementioned
James Morris and Milton Welsh, shall in every instance
before they proceed to the aforesaid collections, make af-
fidavit before some justice of the peace of said districts,
that the same remain unpaid, and that they have not re-
ceived any security or satisfaction for the same, or any
part thereof, more than what credits may be allowed
thereon.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall not con-
tinue in force longer than one year from the date of the
passage thereof.

CHAPTER 130.

An act to allow John Moke, late Collector of Baltimore
county, further time to complete his collections.
|

26, 1845.
|
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the time limited by law, within which John Moke,
late collector of Baltimore county, should have made his
collections, be and the same is hereby extended to the first
day of April, eighteen hundred and forty-six.

An act to abolish the office of Armorer in the City ef An-
napolis.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the office of Armorer in the city of An-
napolis, be and the same is hereby abolished.
