SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That this act shall continue
in force thirty years.
SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That the Legislature re-
serves the right to alter, amend or repeal this charter at
pleasure.

An act further to continue an act passed at December session,
eighteen hundred and thirty-one, entitled, an act to in-
corporate the Baltimore and Chesapeake Steam Towing
Company.

extended.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the act to incorporate the Baltimore and
Chesapeake Steam Towing Company, passed at Decem-
ber session, in the year one thousand eight hundred and
thirty-one, together with every supplement thereto, be and
the same is hereby continued until the year one thousand
eight hundred and sixty-five, and to the end of the next
session of the legislature which shall happen thereafter.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the General Assembly
retains to itself the power at any time to alter, change or
repeal this act.

An act for the relief of Mary Hasson and James Lile, of
Cecil County.
|
Commission-
ers to levy.
|
SECTION. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the county commissioners of Cecil coun-
ty, be, and they are hereby authorised and empowered to
levy annually upon the assessable property of said county,
the sum of twenty dollars, to be paid to such person as
the said commissioner shall direct, for the use, maintenance
and support of Mary Hasson, an aged, indigent and infirm
female, a citizen of Cecil county.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the commissioners of
Cecil county be, and they are hereby further authorised
and empowered, to levy annually upon the assessable pro-
perty of said county, the sum of fifteen dollars, to be paid to
such person as the said commissioners shall direct, for the
use, maintenance and support of James Lile, an indigent
and infirm citizen of the said county.
