An act for the benefit of Charles Parks, administrator of
Thomas H. Parks, late of Somerset County.

tify.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Orphans court of Somerset county,
are hereby authorised to ratify and affirm the sales of the
personal estate of Thomas H. Parks, as made by his ad-
ministrator Charles Parks; provided, said sales shall ap-
pear to said court, fair and bona fide.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the act of Assembly
passed at December session eighteen hundred and forty-
three, chapter three hundred and four, shall not be deemed
applicable to said administrator, for sales made as adminis-

An act to allow Thomas Sutton, sheriff of Queen Anne's
County, further time to execute his bond for the year
eighteen hundred and forty-five.

Time allowed.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Thomas Sutton, sheriff of Queen Anne's
county, be and he is hereby allowed until the thirtieth day of
January, eighteen hundred and forty-five, to execute his
bond to the State, as sheriff of said county, for the year eigh-
teen hundred and forty-five, and that said bond, if executed
and approved on or before that day, shall be as binding on
said sheriff and his sureties, as if executed within the time
now limited by law.

Made valid.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all official acts done or
to be done and performed by said sheriff, after he shall
have bonded as foresaid, shall be as valid and effectual in
law, as if he had executed his bond within the time pre-
scribed by existing laws.
