An to extend the time of William Dellinger, late Collector
of Washington County.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That William Dellinger, late collector of the State and
county tax of Washington county, be and he is hereby
authorised to collect until the first day of January, eighteen
hundred and forty-six, all taxes or public dues placed in
his hands for collection, and which have not been collect-
ed, in the same manner as he could or might have done
within the time limited by law.

CHAPTER 5.

An act relating to the practice in Baltimore County Court,
in certain cases.
|

9, 1845.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That cases on the trial docket in Baltimore
county court, shall at any time be continued on the appli-
cation of the respective parties thereto, of of their coun-
sel.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That cases referred in Bal-
timore county court to arbitration shall be reinstated, and
placed on the. trial docket, on the application of the re-
spective parties thereto, or of their counsel.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That all general issue pleas
in suits brought in Baltimore county court, may at the op-
tion of defendants, or of their counsel, be entered short
on the clerk's docket.

An act to change the name of Jerome Boss, to that of Je-
rome Boss White.
|
Passed Jan.
9, 1845.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the name of Jerome Boss, of Baltimore city, be and
is hereby changed and altered to the name of Jerome Boss
White, and it shall and may be lawful for the said Jerome
