ics and others upon buildings, passed at December ses-
sion, eighteen Hundred and thirty-eight, chapter two hun-
dred and five, be and the same is hereby declared to ex-
tend to Baltimore county, as well as to the city of Balti-
more, any thing in any 3ct or acts of Assembly, to the
contrary notwithstanding.

CHAP. 228.

CHAPTER 227.

A supplement to an act, entitled an act to authorise the lay-
ing out and opening a Road in Allegany County, passed
at December session, eighteen hundred and thirty-six,
chapter one hundred and forty-seven.

12, 1845

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Martin Riser, Jr., John Folck and Thomas Beall, be
and they are hereby appointed commissioners to locate
and extend the road, the original location of which is pro-
vided for in the act to which this is a supplement, in a
northern direction to the Pennsylvania line, and in a south-
ern direction to intersect the Old town road, at points the
most convenient at each extremity, and upon routes the
most practicable; the said commissioners to be governed
in their action by the provisions of the act of assembly, to
which this is a supplement.

CHAPTER 228.

An act relating to the, Removal of Equity Causes, to the
Court of Chancery, from, the First, Fourth and Sixth
Judicial Districts.

Passed Feb.
18, 1845.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That where causes in equity have been or
shall hereafter be removed to the court of chancery, from
any county courts, and where the said court of chancery
has determined, or shall determine, that it cannot receive
or proceed with such causes, the said court may remand
the same to the respective county courts, to be there pro-
ceeded with in manner and to every effect as if no re-
moval had taken place.

operation from and immediately after the passage thereof.
