SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That from and after the pas-
sage of this act, all that part of the street called Garden
street, as located by the extension commissioners, under the
act of eighteen hundred and seventeen, which passes
through the property of the above mentioned persons, shall
be a public highway forever.

CHAPTER 224.

A supplement to an act entitled an act to provide for the
extension of the Belle-Air Market Space in the City of Baltimore.

Passed. Feb.
28, 1845.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Mayor and City Council of Balti-
more, be and are hereby authorised to proceed to condemn
and appropriate for the purpose of extending the Belle-
Air Market Space in the city of Baltimore, the property
in said city embraced within the following description,
viz: beginning for the southwestermost side of said con-
templated extension, at a point on the northwest side of
north Gay street, where the southwest side of the present
Belle-Air Market Space, if extended would intersect the
northwest side of north Gay street, and running northwest-
erly with the same range of the said Market Space until
it intersects the southwest side of Forrest street, and thence
with the southwest side of Forrest street, to the souther-
most intersection of Forrest and Hillen streets, and begin-
ning for the northeasternmost side of said contemplated
extension at a point forty feet northeasterly on the north-
west side of north Gay street from where the northeastern-
most side of the present Market Space, would intersect
the said northwest side of north Gay street if extended,
and running thence northwesterly until it intersects the
southeasterly side of Hillen street at a point one hundred
and sixty feet from the southeasternmost corner of Forrest
and Hillen streets.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the mode of proceed-
ing in the condemnation contemplated by this act, shall be
in every respect conformable, and according to the direc-
tions and provisions of the original act to which this is a
supplement.
