CHAPTER 165.

CHAP. 167.

An act to make valid the new location of the School House
in the District School number three, in the Middle Elec-
tion District of Caroline County.

Passed March
3, 1845.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the passage of this act, it shall be
lawful for the trustees of the district school number three,
in the middle election district of Caroline county, to lo-
cate the school house in said school district, wherever
the trustees may deem it most advisable; and if the trus-
stees of said school have already chosen a different loca-
tion for the school house, the same is hereby made valid.

Made valid.

CHAPTER 166.

 

An act to make valid the official acts of John B. Gilbert, as
a Justice of the Peace for Frederick County.

Passed March
8, 1845.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That all and every official act, made and none by John B.
Gilbert, as a justice of the peace for Frederick county,
shall in no manner be affected by reason of the informality
of his commission, and that all his official acts and pro-
ceedings shall be as valid and effectual to all intents and
purposes as if the said John B. Gilbert, had been lawfully
and regularly commissioned and qualified as the law di-
rects.

CHAPTER 167.

 

An act for the benefit of James Law, of the State of
Delaware.

Passed March
3, 1845.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the passage of this act, it shall and may
be lawful for James Law, of the State of Delaware, to re-
move his negro slaves from his farm or farms in the State
of Delaware, to his farm or farms in the State of Maryland,
and from his said farm or farms in the State of Maryland,
to his said farm or farms in the State of Delaware, as often
and at such times as the said James Law, may deem fit, solely
