December session, eighteen hundred and forty-three, chap-
ter two hundred and seventy-five, shall be construed to
apply to persons setting seines during the night time,
provided, said seines shall be taken up on or before sun-
rise.

An act for the benefit of James T. Pritchett, of the City of
Baltimore.

Bring a negro
slave into this
State.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the passage of this act, James T.
Pritchett, of the city of Baltimore, be, and he is hereby
authorised to bring into this State, from the State of Vir-
ginia, negro girl Margaret, a slave for life, aged eight
years, on complying with the provisions of an act passed
at December session, eighteen hundred and thirty-nine,
chapter fifteen.

An act to repeal an act passed at December session, eighteen
hundred and forty-two, chapter four.
|
Repealed.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That an act of Assembly, passed at December session,
eighteen hundred and forty-two, chapter four, entitled, an
act to authorise the citizens of Worcester county to plant
oysters, and for the protection of the same, be, and the
same is hereby repealed.

State, a negro slave therein mentioned.

Be if. enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That S. Teackle Wallis, Esq'r. of Baltimore city, be and
he is hereby authorised to bring into this State a negro
slave named Oliver, upon complying with the provisions
of the act of eighteen hundred and thirty-nine, chapter
fifteen.
