1420H. (130-18B) (a) The area herein described is
hereby added to the Washington Suburban Sanitary Dis-
trict created by Chapter 122 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1918:
All that area in Prince George's County known as
Hough's Parky as shown on a Plat thereof recorded among
the Land Records of said County in Plat Book 10 as Plat
No. 50, not now included within the existing boundary of
the Washington Suburban Sanitary District.
(b) The jurisdiction of the Washington Suburban Sani-
tary Commission is hereby extended to include the area
above described and said area shall be subject to all the
rules and regulations of the Commission and all provisions
of law relating to said District including taxes, benefit
assessments and other sums or charges levied by said Com-
mission in other parts of said District.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency measure and necessary
for the immediate preservation of the public health and
safety, and having been passed by a yea and nay vote,
supported by three-fifths of all the members elected to each
of the two Houses of the General Assembly of Maryland,
the same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
16 of Article 31B of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1951 Edition), title "Defective Delinquents", sub-title
"Application", and to repeal and re-enact, with amend-
ments, Section 3 of Chapter 476 of the Acts of 1951,
said section having been amended by Chapter 65 of the
Acts of 1952, changing the effective date of certain pro-
visions in the laws of this State as to defective delin-
quents.
