immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and having been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported

by three-fifths of the members elected to each of the
two Houses of the General Assembly of Maryland, the same

shall take effect from the date of its passage.
SEC. 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT
THIS ACT SHALL TAKE EFFECT JUNE 1, 1953.

CHAPTER 515
(House Bill 556)

AN ACT to add a new section to the Code of Public Local
Laws of Prince George's County (1943 Edition) and the
Montgomery County Code (1950 Edition), being Articles
17 and 16, respectively, of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland, titles "Prince George's County" and "Mont-
gomery County", sub-title "Washington Suburban Sani-
tary District", said new section to be known as Section
1420H of the Code of the Public Local Laws of Prince
George's County (1943 Edition), and Section 130-18B of
the Montgomery County Code (1950 Edition), and to
follow immediately after Sections 1420G and 130-18A,
respectively, adding an additional area to the Washing-
ton Suburban Sanitary Commission.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to
the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's County
(1943 Edition) and the Montgomery County Code (1950
Edition), being Articles 17 and 16, respectively, of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Prince
George's County" and "Montgomery County", sub-title
"Washington Suburban Sanitary District", said new sec-
tion to be known as Section 1420H of the Code of the Public
Local Laws of Prince George's County (1943 Edition), and
Section 130-18B of the Montgomery County Code (1950
Edition), and to follow immediately after Sections 1420G
and 130-18A, respectively, and to read as follows:
