ther residential, voting or locative qualifications, be en-
titled to procure a license for the sale of any and all alco-
holic beverages within the confines of its said property
limits. The cost for such license shall be $1, 000. 00 each
calendar year. Such licenses and the licensees thereunder
shall be subject to all laws, rules and regulations applicable
in Anne Arundel County to the sale of alcoholic beverages,
not inconsistent with the provisions of this sub-section.

SEC. 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT
THIS ACT SHALL NOT BECOME EFFECTIVE UNTIL
IT SHALL FIRST BE SUBMITTED TO THE LEGALLY
QUALIFIED VOTERS OF THE EIGHTH ELECTION
DISTRICT OF ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY AT AN
ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID ELECTION DIS-
TRICT ON JUNE 18, 1953. THERE SHALL BE PRINT-
ED ON THE BALLOT TO BE USED AT SAID ELEC-
TION THE TITLE OF THIS ACT AND UNDERNEATH
THE SAID TITLE, ON SEPARATE LINES, A SQUARE
OR BOX OR LEVER TO THE RIGHT OF AND OPPO-
SITE THE WORDS "FOR ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
LICENSES FOR CERTAIN YACHT CLUBS", AND A
CORRESPONDING SQUARE OR BOX TO THE RIGHT
OF AND OPPOSITE THE WORDS "AGAINST ALCO-
HOLIC BEVERAGES LICENSES FOR CERTAIN
YACHT CLUBS", SO THAT THE VOTERS SHALL BE
ABLE TO DESIGNATE HIS OR HER DECISION FOR
OR AGAINST SAID ACT. IF A MAJORITY OF THE
VOTES CAST AT SAID ELECTION SHALL BE "FOR
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES LICENSES FOR CERTAIN
YACHT CLUBS", THEN THIS ACT SHALL IMME-
DIATELY BECOME EFFECTIVE, BUT IF A MA-
JORITY OF THE VOTES CAST AT SAID ELECTION
SHALL BE "AGAINST ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES,
LICENSES FOR CERTAIN YACHT CLUBS", THEN
THIS ACT SHALL BE OF NO EFFECT AND SHALL
BE NULL AND VOID.

SEC. 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT
THIS ACT SHALL NOT BE SUBMITTED TO THE
VOTERS OF THE EIGHTH ELECTION DISTRICT OP
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY AS PROVIDED IN SEC-
TION 2 HEREINABOVE UNLESS AT LEAST SEVEN
DAYS PRIOR TO JUNE 18, 1953, THERE SHALL BE
DEPOSITED WITH THE BOARD OF COUNTY COM-
MISSIONERS OF ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY A SUM
OF MONEY EQUAL TO AN ESTIMATE BY THE
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE COST
OF CONDUCTING THE SAID REFERENDUM ELEC-
