hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

142. At the general election to be held in Dorchester
County on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in the
month of November, 1917, there shall be no County Com-
missioners elected in Dorchester County, and at the general
election to be held in said county on the first Tuesday after
the first Monday in the month of November, 1919, there
shall be but one County Commissioner elected in said
county for a term of six years, and at the general election
to be held in said county on the first Tuesday after the first
Monday in November, 1921, there shall be two County
Commissioners elected for said county, each for a term of
six years. And the said three County Commissioners shall
constitute the Board of County Commissioners of said
county; and thereafter the number of County Commis-
sioners of said county shall be three, each of them and the
successor of each of them serving for six years from the
date of their election [; each of the said Commissioners
shall receive an annual salary of five hundred dollars and
mileage at the rate of ten cents per mile one way for each
day's session such member shall be actually present].

201. The annual salary of each County Commissioner
shall be [six] fifteen hundred dollars ($1, 500. 00).

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

CHAPTER 452
(Senate Bill 525)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
821 of Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Frederick County",
sub-title "Treasurer", as said Section was amended by
Chapter 257 of the Acts of 1951, generally amending
the provisions of said Section applicable to the chief
clerk, stenographer, clerical assistants, and bond of the
County Treasurer of Frederick County.
