sub-title "County Treasurers", be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, and to read as
follows:

47.

(j) The County Treasurer of Garrett County shall
receive an annual salary of $4, 500. 00, out of which he
shall pay for any assistants or clerks, but the County Com-
missioners of said County shall allow the said Treasurer
$200. 00 annually for the expense of secretarial services
in making out tax bills [. ], and an additional $250. 00
annually for the expense of an attorney; provided that
the attorney to the County Commissioners shall be the
attorney to the County Treasurer.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
142 of Article 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Dorchester County, "
sub-title "County Commissioners and Treasurer, " and
to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 201 of
said Article, as said section was amended by Chapter
359 of the Acts of 1933; relating to the annual salary of
the County Commissioners of Dorchester County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 142 of Article 10 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Dorchester
County, " sub-title "County Commissioners and Treasurer, "
and Section 201 of said Article, as said section was amend-
ed by Chapter 359 of the Acts of 1933, be and they are
