of Queen Anne's County. TOWN COMMISSIONERS
OF QUEENSTOWN. There shall be printed on the
ballots to be used at said elections the title of this Act,
and underneath said title on separate lines a square or box
to the right of and opposite the words "For Motion Pic-
tures on Sunday", and a corresponding square or box to
the right of and opposite the words "Against Motion Pic-
tures on Sunday", so that the said voters shall be able to
designate by a cross-mark in the proper square or box his
or her decision for or against motion pictures on Sunday.
If a majority of the votes cast at said elections in the
Town of Queenstown on said question shall be "For
Motion Pictures on Sunday", then Sections 1 and 2 of this
Act shall automatically become effective. If a majority of
the votes cast on said question shall be "Against Motion
Pictures on Sunday", then Sections 1 and 2 of this Act
shall not become effective.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency measure and necessary
for the immediate preservation of the public health and
safety and having been passed by a yea and nay vote,
supported by three-fifths of all the members elected to each
of the two Houses of the General Assembly of Maryland,
the same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

(Senate Bill 521)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
47 (j) of Article 25 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1951 Edition), title "County Commissioners", sub-title
"County Treasurers", providing that the attorney to
the County Commissioners of Garrett County shall also
be the attorney to the County Treasurer, and establish-
ing his compensation.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 47 (j) of Article 25 of the Annotated Code
