(Senate Bill 473)
AN ACT to amend further the Articles of incorporation
of the Boys' School of St. Paul's Parish, incorporated
under the Act of 1846, Chapter 323, as amended by the
Act of 1856, Chapter 95.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That notwithstanding any provision contained in the Act
of 1856, Chapter 95, the Boys' School of St. Paul's Parish
may receive, recover, hold and enjoy all property, real,
personal or mixed, heretofore or hereafter acquired by it
for educational and charitable purposes.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

CHAPTER 440
(Senate Bill 474)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tions 70, 75 and 77 of Article 10 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Dor-
chester County", sub-title "Police Commissioners", and
to repeal Section 71 thereof, Sections 70 and 71 having
been amended by Chapter 602 of the Acts of 1939 and
to enact in lieu thereof a new Section 71 to stand in
its place and stead, relating to vacancies in the Police
Force of the City of Cambridge, examination therefor,
appointments and regulations thereof.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 70, 75 and 77 of Article 10 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Dorchester County", sub-title "Police Commissioners",
be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
