to him by any deputy local registrar, and for each monthly
report rendered to the State Board of Health reporting
that no certificates have been received, the sum of Fifty
Cents to be paid by the County upon warrant of the County
Commissioners, and in the case where such certificates are
transmitted by the deputy local registrar such deputy local
registrar shall receive such fee instead. Provided, how-
ever, that in Charles County and Washington County the
local registrar shall be entitled to receive the sum of $1.00
for each birth or death certificate where said certificates
are issued in compliance with this sub-title.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

CHAPTER 386
(House Bill 715)

AN ACT to authorize and empower the Washington Sub-
urban Sanitary Commission to pay to the Mayor and
Town Council of Forest Heights, a municipal corpora-
tion of the State of Maryland, the sum of Two Thousand
Two Hundred and Ten Dollars ($2,210) covering the
cost of street improvements abutting property of said
Commission.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That the Washington Suburban Sanitary Com-
mission be and it is hereby authorized and directed to pay
to the Mayor and Town Council of Forest Heights the sum
of Two Thousand Two Hundred and Ten Dollars ($2,210)
to cover the cost of constructing street improvements
abutting property of the Washington Suburban Sanitary
Commission in said town, said sum to be paid from the
general operating funds of said Commission.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

Approved April 6, 1953.
