and may designate such additional polling places in any such
election district within the City, as they may deem neces-
sary. Notice of the boundary of such division or divisions
shall be given by publication of an advertisement thereof,
for two successive weeks, in one or more newspapers pub-
lished in the City of Rockville, at least thirty days prior to
any election of City officials.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

CHAPTER 329
(House Bill 382)

AN ACT to repeal Section 113-19 of the Montgomery
County Code (1950 Edition), being Article 16 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Montgomery
County", sub-title "Ballots and ballot boxes", and to
enact a new Section 113-19 in lieu thereof, to stand in
the place and stead of the section so repealed, so as to
authorize the use of voting machines in the elections of
the City of Rockville, and to provide for non-partisan
elections.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That Section 113-19 of the Montgomery County
Code (1950 Edition), being Article 16 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Montgomery County", sub-
title "Ballots and ballot boxes", be and it is hereby repealed
and that a new Section 113-19 be and it is hereby enacted
in lieu thereof, to stand in the place and stead of the section
so repealed, and to read as follows:

113-19. The Mayor and Council of Rockville shall pro-
vide the means whereby all duly registered voters of the
City of Rockville may vote for the election of members to
the offices of Councilmen and the office of Mayor, and in
taking the ballot there shall be used either voting machines
