WHEREAS, the General Assembly, at its Session of 1949,
legalized and made evidence of the law the Code of Public
Local Laws of Baltimore County (1948 Edition), edited
by Michael Paul Smith; and
WHEREAS, a Supplement known as the 1951 Cumulative
Supplement to the Code of Public Local Laws of Baltimore
County (1948 Edition) has been prepared and contains all
additions and amendments to the Public Local Laws of
Baltimore County through the Acts of the 1951 Session
of the General Assembly of Maryland; now therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the 1951 Cumulative Supplement to the
Code of Public Local Laws of Baltimore County be and
the same is hereby legalized and shall be deemed and taken
in all courts of the State and by all justices of the peace
of the State and by all public officials of the State to be
evidence of the Public Local Laws of Baltimore County in
existence at the time of its compilation.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is here-
by declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety
and having been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported
by three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the
two Houses of the General Assembly of Maryland, the
same shall take effect from the date of its passage.
