SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall

(Senate Bill 397)

AN ACT to repeal Section 159 of Article 77 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Public
Education", sub-title "Chapter 11. County Superin-
tendent of Schools", said Section relating to the duties
of the county superintendent of schools as treasurer of
the county board of education and now being obsolete.

SECTION l. Be it enacted 'by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 159 of Article 77 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Public Education", sub-
title "Chapter 11. County Superintendent of Schools" be
and the same is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.
