be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:

47. (f) The County Treasurer of Howard County shall
receive an annual salary of [$3, 200. 00] $4, 000. 00.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

CHAPTER 249
(House Bill 523)

AN ACT to repeal Section 285 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Baltimore County (1948 Edition), being
Article 3 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title "Baltimore County", sub-title "Public Works", sub-
heading "Buildings, " said section having specified the
manner in which a garage, when constructed as part of
a dwelling, shall be built and maintained.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 285 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Baltimore County (1948 Edition), being Article
3 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
"Baltimore County", sub-title "Public Works", sub-head-
ing "Buildings, " be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.
