230A½. (Definitions. ) (a). The term "sub-division"
means the division of a parcel of land into three (3) or
more lots or parcels for the purpose of transfer of owner-
ship or building development, or, if a new street is in-
volved, any division of a parcel of land; provided that a
division of land into lots or parcels of five (5) acres or
more and not involving a new street shall not be deemed
a sub-division. The term includes resub-division and, when
appropriate to the context, shall relate to the process of
sub-dividing or to the land sub-divided.

(b). The term "street" or "road" means a way for
vehicular traffic, of such width, design, construction, and
specifications as the Howard County Planning Commis-
sion's regulations now require or might hereafter require.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency measure and necessary
for the immediate preservation of the public health and
safety and having been passed by a yea and nay vote,
supported by three-fifths of all the members elected to
each of the two Houses of the General Assembly, the same
shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 187
(Senate Bill 351)

AN ACT to add a new sub-section to Section 195 of Article
66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition),
title "Natural Resources", sub-title "Deer", to be known
as sub-section (i) of said Section and sub-title, and to
follow immediately after sub-section (h) thereof, pro-
hibiting the killing of does in Cecil County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That be and there is added a new sub-section to Section
195 of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1951 Edition), title "Natural Resources", sub-title "Deer",
