SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That the County
Commissioners of Queen Anne's County shall annually levy
such tax upon the assessable property of said County as
may be necessary to pay the annual interest on said notes
or bonds and to redeem said notes and/or bonds as they
become due until all of said notes and/or bonds shall
mature and be redeemed. The taxes so levied shall be
collected in the same manner as other taxes are levied and
collected in said County.

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency measure and necessary
for the immediate preservation of the public health and
safety and having been passed by a yea and nay vote,
supported by three-fifths of all the members elected to
each of the two Houses of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, the same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 186
(Senate Bill 342)

AN ACT to add one new section to Article 14 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Howard County", sub-title "Planning and Sub-division
Control", said new section to be known as Section
230A½ and to follow immediately after Section 230A
of said Article, as said section was enacted by Chapter
424 of the Acts of 1951, defining the term "sub-division"
and the term "street" or "road. "

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article 14
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Howard County", sub-title "Planning and
Sub-division Control", said new section to be known as
Section 230A½, to follow immediately after Section 230A
of said Article, as said section was enacted by Chapter 424
of the Acts of 1951, and to read as follows:
