held for Commissioners, and those in their respective
offices at the time shall hold over until their successors
are elected, or appointed and qualified as herein set forth.
However, the election and qualifying of one or more candi-
dates for Commissioners at such general election shall end
the terms of all four of those holding office as Commis-
sioners at the time. If a tie vote should result at any
election, The Mayor and Commissioners of Westernport
then in office shall name one of the tie candidates, who
shall be sworn into the office for which he was a candidate.
661 A. The Clerk of the Town of Westernport shall enter
all ordinances and orders passed by the Mayor and Com-
missioners in a book kept for that purpose, which shall be
open at all times for inspection of any person interested
and he shall see that copies of all ordinances are posted in
at least five public places in said town within ten days after
the passage thereof.
66IB. The Mayor and Commissioners of Westernport
may at any time provide by ordinance for the codification
or recodification of such ordinances as have been passed
by them or may hereafter be passed by them, and for the
printing of such codification or recodification thereof, and
the printed copy of any ordinance or codification issued by
authority and under the sanction of The Mayor and Com-
missioners of Westernport shall be legal evidence of the
passage of the said ordinance and the contents thereof
in any court of law or equity in this State.
661C. The Mayor and Commissioners of Westernport
shall annually cause to be made up, printed and distributed
among the citizens of the Town of Westernport a detailed
financial statement of the town's affairs, showing the
financial resources of the town and the existing liabilities,
as well as the income for the previous year and the ex-
penditures during the same, which statement shall be made
up and distributed not later than the month of October of
each year.
661D. During the terms of office of the Bailiff or Clerk
of said Town of Westernport, either may be removed from
office by The Mayor and Commissioners of Westernport for
neglect or failure to properly perform the duties of their
respective offices or for misfeasance or malfeasance in office
or such other conduct as they may determine to be injur-
ious or prejudicial to the interest or welfare of the town,
provided a copy of such charges in writing are served
upon the party charged at least ten days before such re-
