SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That Section 100, Sub-section "Charles County"
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title
"Justice of the Peace", sub-title "Trial Magistrate Sys-
tem", and add a new sub-section to Section 111 of said
Article, title and sub-title, to be known as Sub-section (e),
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, and to read as follows:

100.

(Charles County. ) There shall be one Trial Magistrate
who shall sit at La Plata and shall receive an annual salary
of not more than $2, 400. 00 [$1200. 00].

111.

(e) In Charles County the substitute Trial Magistrate
shall receive a salary of not more than $1, 200. 00 per year.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

CHAPTER 109
(House Bill 521)

AN ACT to authorize and empower the Commissioners of
Delmar, Maryland to construct a new outfall sewer in
accordance with plans approved by the State Board of
Health, either within or without the corporate limits of
said Town and to undertake said construction indepen-
dently or jointly with the Town of Delmar, Delaware;
authorizing and empowering the Commissioners of Del-
mar, Maryland to finance its share of such construction
by borrowing a sum or sums of money not exceeding
Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50, 000. 00) in the aggregate
and evidencing such borrowing by the issuance and sale
at public sale of the general obligation serial maturity
coupon bonds of said Town, payable as to principal and
