when added to the sum received by him under the pro-
visions of this sub-title, will make in the aggregate a pay-
ment to such individual of One Hundred Dollars each
month, [and] said Mayor and Aldermen shall annually levy
an amount sufficient to pay said additional allowances as
established by them under the provisions of this section.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

CHAPTER 91
(House Bill 180)
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 35 of the An-
notated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Evi-
dence", sub-title "Proof of Foreign Debts and Other In-
struments", said section to be known as Section 50A, to
follow immediately after Section 50 of said Article, pro-
viding that printed copies of schedules, classifications,
and tariffs, and supplements thereto, on file with the In-
terstate Commerce Commission, shall be presumed cor-
rect and shall be good and sufficient evidence without
certification, to prove the same.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 35 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edi-
tion), title "Evidence", sub-title "Proof of Foreign Debts
and Other Instruments", said section to be known as Sec-
tion 50A, to follow immediately after Section 50 of said
Article, and to read as follows:
50A. Printed copies of schedules, classifications and
tariffs of rates, fares and charges, and supplements to any
such schedules, classifications and tariffs, filed with the
Interstate Commerce Commission, which show respectively
an Interstate Commerce Commission number, which may
be stated in abbreviated form, as I. C. C. No.......... and an
effective date, shall be presumed to be correct copies of the
