To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:

I, JOHN R. REEVES, SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE OP
MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section
203 of Article 33 of the Code of Maryland (1947 Edition)
DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at a Special Election held on Thurs-
day, November 6, 1952, in Prince George's County, Mary-
land, an Act known as Chapter 511 of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland of 1951, was submitted to the
voters of the Fifth Election District of Prince George's
County, for their adoption or rejection, under the provisions
of Chapter 511 of the Acts of 1951, said Act being:

"An Act relating to the levy and distribution of a
special fire tax".

AND I DO CERTIFY, That at said election 619 votes were cast
in favor of the adoption of Chapter 511 of the Acts of 1951
and 113 votes were cast against the adoption of the said
Act; and a majority being cast for the adoption of Chapter
511, the said Act has, therefore, been ratified by the voters
of the Fifth Election District, of Prince George's County.
