OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY OF STATE
To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:
I, JOHN R. REEVES, SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE OP
MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section
203 of Article 33 of the Code of Maryland (1947 Edition)
DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at the General Election held on
November 4, 1952 in the State of Maryland, an Act known
as Chapter 403 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland of 1951, was submitted to the voters of Allegany
County, Maryland, for their adoption or rejection, under
the provisions of Chapter 403 of the Acts of 1951, said Act
being:
"An Act to add a new section to Article 94 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland, said new section to be known
as Section 4 and to follow immediately after Section
3 of said Article, providing that Daylight Saving
Time shall be effective in all parts of Allegany
County".
AND I DO CERTIFY, that at said election 18, 003 votes were
cast in favor of the adoption of said Chapter 403 of the
Acts of 1951 and 12, 344 votes were cast against the adoption
of the said Act; and a majority being cast for the adoption
of Chapter 403, the said Act has, therefore, been ratified
by the voters of Allegany County.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto sub-
