OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY OP STATE
To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:
I, JOHN R. REEVES, SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE OF
MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section
203 of Article 33 of the Code of Maryland (1947 Edition)
DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at an election held in the Town of
District Heights, Prince George's County, Maryland, an Act
known as Chapter 160 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of 1951, was submitted to the voters of the Town of District
Heights for their adoption or rejection, under provisions of
Chapter 160 of the Acts of 1951, said Act being:
"An Act authorizing the Town of District Heights, to
construct and reconstruct streets, etc., and to borrow
on the credit of the town for such purposes, and
providing for the liquidation of the interest thereon
by an annual front foot assessment on the abutting
real property in said town".
AND I DO CERTIFY, That at said election 135 votes were cast
in favor of the adoption of said Chapter 160 of the Acts of
1951 and 51 votes were cast against the adoption of said
Act; and a majority being in favor of the adoption thereof,
it was thereby ratified by the voters of the said Town of
District Heights.
