1951, Ch. 149—Berwyn Heights

To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:

I, JOHN R. REEVES, SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE OF
MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section
203 of Article 33 of the Code of Maryland (1947 Edition)
DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at an election held in the town
of Berwyn Heights, Prince George's County, Maryland, an
Act known as Chapter 149 of the Acts of the General As-
sembly of 1951, was submitted to the voters of the Town of
Berwyn Heights for their adoption or rejection, under the
provisions of Chapter 149 of the Acts of 1951, said Act
being:

"An Act to add six new sections to Prince George's
County Code (1943 Edition), being Article 17 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), authorizing the Commissioners of Berwyn
Heights to construct, maintain, and repair streets,
alleys, curbs, sidewalks and gutters, to borrow money
for same and issue bonds therefor and to provide for
special assessments. "

AND I DO CERTIFY, That at said election 92 votes for were
cast in favor of the adoption of Chapter 149 of the Acts of
1951 and 35 votes were cast against the adoption of said
Act; and a majority being in favor of the adoption thereof,
it was thereby ratified by the voters of the Town of Berwyn
Heights.
