To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:

I, JOHN R. REEVES, SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE OF
MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section
203 of Article 33 of the Code of Maryland (1947 Edition)
DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at an election held on Monday,
May 7, 1951, in the Town of Bladensburg, Prince George's
County, Maryland, an Act known as Chapter 147 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of 1951, was submitted to the
voters of the Town of Bladensburg for their adoption or
rejection, under provisions of Chapter 147 of the Acts of
1951, said Act being:

"An Act to increase the salary of the Mayor, members
of the Town Council and the Treasurer of the Town
of Bladensburg".

AND I DO CERTIFY, That at said election 248 votes were
cast in favor of the adoption of said Chapter 147 of the Acts
of 1951 and 152 votes were cast against the adoption of said
Act; and a majority being in favor of the adoption thereof,
it was thereby ratified by the voters of the said Town of
Bladensburg.
