more lenient regulations with regard to the taking of wild
waterfowl; now therefore be it

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Director of the Fish and Wildlife Service, U. S. De-
partment of the Interior, be and he is hereby requested to
modify the regulations governing the hunting of wild
waterfowl in Maryland by providing:

(1) That the daily bag limit of wild ducks be increased
from the present regulation of four (4) to six (6) per day.

(2) That the daily bag limit of wild geese be increased
from the present regulation of three (3) to four (4) per
day.

(3) That additional hunting days be added to the ex-
piration date of the 1952-1953 season.

(4) That the present regulation as to shooting hours
be changed from one (1) hour before sunset to one-half
(½) hour before sunset.

(5) That the use of bait be allowed up to but not within
two hundred (200) yards from the location of the hunter.

Resolved, That the Secretary of State be and he is hereby
directed to send a copy of this resolution, under the Great
Seal of the State of Maryland, to the Director of the Fish
and Wildlife Service, U. S. Department of the Interior,
Washington, D. C.
