1838 JOINT RESOLUTIONS

and when organized instruction was carried on by means
of television; and


WHEREAS, it is desirable to cooperate in every possible
respect with this Citizens' Committee in order to show the
interest of the members of the General Assembly and also
to do anything possible to facilitate and further the studies
of the Committee; now therefore


Be it resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the
House of Delegates of Maryland be requested to appoint
respectively two members from each House to cooperate
with the Citizens' Committee on educational TV; and be it
further


Resolved, That the Secretary of State be instructed to
send copies of this Resolution to the Governor of Mary-
land, to the President of the Senate of Maryland, to the
Speaker of the House of Delegates of Maryland and to Dr.
Katherine Whiteside-Taylor and Miss Elizabeth H. Gross,
co-chairmen of the Citizens' Committee on educational TV.

(Senate Joint Resolution 8)

A Joint Resolution requesting the Director of the Fish and
Wildlife Service, U. S. Department of the Interior, to
modify the regulations as to the season, bag limit and
other matters in the hunting of wild waterfowl in Mary-
land.


WHEREAS, the population of all waterfowl has greatly in-
creased in the State of Maryland during the past several
years; and


WHEREAS, it is the general opinion of a great majority
of all sportsmen in the State that conditions now warrant
