(k) Each of the Judges of the Orphans' Court for
Baltimore City and for Prince George's County shall receive
the sum of Eighteen Dollars ($18. 00) for every day's
attendance upon the sessions of said Court. Every Judge
of the Orphans' Court of Baltimore City shall be paid,
after the termination of active service, if he is then at least
60 years of age or when he shall attain 60 years of age,
a pension or salary calculated at the rate of Four Hundred
'and Fifty Dollars ($450. 00) per annum for each year, or
any part thereof, of active service, but the maximum
pension or salary for such service shall not exceed Forty-
Five Hundred Dollars ($4, 500. 00) per annum. The said
pension or salary shall be paid by the City of Baltimore
in the same manner as the salaries of the Judges of the
Orphans' Court of said City are paid.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

(Senate Bill 297)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
413 (b) of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1951 Edition), title "Health", sub-title "Water
and/or Sewer Authorities", providing that no bonds
shall be issued under the authority of said sub-title in
Allegany County unless the question has been submitted
to the registered voters within the area to be affected.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 413 (b) of Article 43 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Health", sub-title
"Water and/or Sewer Authorities", be and the same is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, and
to read as follows:
(b) Provided, however, that in Dorchester County and
Allegany County, no bonds shall be issued under the
