from assessment and from state, county, and city taxa-
tion in this State.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new sub-section be and it is hereby added to Section
8 of Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951
Edition), title "Revenue and Taxes", sub-title "What Shall
Be Taxed and Where'', said new section to be known as
Sub-section (38) of said Section 7 8 and to follow imme-
diately after Sub-section (37) thereof as said sub-section
was enacted by Chapter 447 of the Acts of 1951 and to
read as follows:
(38) All young poultry, including chickens, ducks, tur-
keys and guineas, not more than 6 months of age and not
kept for reproductive purposes.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, sub-
section (k) of Section 250 of Article 93 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Testa-
mentary Law, " sub-title "Orphans' Court", providing
for the payment of pensions to the Judges of the
Orphans' Court", providing for the payment of pensions
to the Judges of the Orphans' Court of Baltimore City,
under certain conditions.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That sub-section (k) of Section 250 of Article 93 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Testa-
mentary Law, " sub-title "Orphans' Court", be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
