SEC. 11. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

(House Bill 774)
AN ACT to add six new sections to the Code of Public
Local Laws of Prince George's County, Maryland,
(Flack's 1943 Edition), being Article 17 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Prince George's
County", sub-title "Hyattsville", said new sections to be
known as Sections 799A to 799F, to follow immediately
after Section 799 of the said Article as hereinbefore
enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, empower-
ing the Mayor and City Council of the City of Hyatts-
ville to acquire land and property by purchase, lease,
gift, condemnation, or any other means for the purpose
of providing off-street parking, and to empower said city
to construct, maintain and operate thereon off-street
parking for the storage and parking of vehicles; au-
thorizing the Mayor and City Council of Hyattsville to
administer and operate said parking lots in any manner
which in its discretion may be for the best interests of
the residents of the City of Hyattsville and for such other
people who may from time to time make use of such
parking lots, including the full authority and discretion
in said Mayor and City Council of Hyattsville to fix the
time, manner, location and cost of the use of such park-
ing lots by any individual or vehicle, and authorizing the
Mayor and City Council of Hyattsville to install parking
meters on any such lots and to fix, charge and collect fees,
and to regulate the manner and time of occupancy for
the use of any part of any such parking lot and to adopt
and enact ordinances from time to time setting forth the
operation of such parking lots and providing for the
enforcement thereof; authorizing the issuance of bonds
and/or certificates of indebtedness from time to time
by the Mayor and City Council of Hyattsville in an
