THEODORE R. MCKELDIN, GOVERNOR 1665

Laws (1949 Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-title
"Criers, Bailiffs, Watchmen and Stenographers", as said
section was amended by Chapter 378 of the Acts of 1951,
raising the salaries of the Bailiffs, Jury Commissioner
and Deputy Jury Commissioners of certain Courts in
Baltimore City.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That Section 295 (a) of the Baltimore City
Charter and Public Local Laws (1949 Edition), title "Balti-
more City", sub-title "Criers, Bailiffs, Watchmen and Ste-
nographers", as said section was amended by Chapter 378
of the Acts of 1951, be and the same is hereby repealed and
amended, and to read as follows:

295. (a) The Treasurer of Baltimore City shall pay to
the Bailiffs respectively of the Superior Court of Baltimore
City, of the Court of Common Pleas of Baltimore City, of
the Baltimore City Court, of the Circuit Court of Baltimore
City, of the Circuit Court No. 2 of Baltimore City, and of
the Criminal Court of Baltimore City the sum of not less
than [Three] Four THREE Thousand [Five] Two SIX
Hundred. Fifty Dollars ($4, 250. 00) nor more than Four
Thousand [Two] Five Hundred [Fifty] Dollars ($4,
250. 00) ($4, 500. 00) SEVENTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($4,
250. 00) ($3, 675. 00) NOR MORE THAN FOUR THOU-
SAND SEVEN FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY SEVENTY-
FIVE DOLLARS ($4, 750. 00) ($4, 475) per annum, and
to the Bailiff assigned to the Jury Judge and designated
as Jury Commissioner, a sum not less than [Four] Five

FOUR Thousand [Four Hundred] SIX HUNDRED
TWENTY Dollars ($5, 000. 00) nor more than [Five] Seven
Thousand Dollars [($5, 000. 00)] ($7, 000. 00) per annum,
and the Bailiff ($5, 000. 00) ($4, 620. 00) NOR MORE THAN
SIX THOUSAND FIVE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED
FIFTY DOLLARS ($6, 000. 00) ($5, 250. 00) PER ANNUM,
AND THE BAILIFF assigned as Jury Bailiff and desig-
nated as Deputy Jury Commissioner a sum not less than
[Three Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty Dollars
($3, 850. 00)] Four Thousand Six Hundred FIFTY Dollars
($4, 500. 00)
($4, 050. 00) nor more than [Four] Six Thou-
sand [Five Hundred] Dollars [($4, 500. 00] ($6, 000. 00) per
annum, as determined and certified to by FIVE FOUR
THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED SEVEN HUNDRED
TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($5, 500. 00) ($4, 725. 00)
PER ANNUM, AS DETERMINED AND CERTIFIED
TO BY the Supreme Bench of Baltimore City as and for
