RECREATION WHO SHALL NOT BE A MEMBER OF
THE COMMISSION AND WHO, UNDER THE DIREC-
TION OF THE CHAIRMAN AND IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE POLICY OF THE COMMISSION SHALL
BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE GENERAL ORGANIZA-
TION, ADMINISTRATION, AND SUPERVISION OF
THE PROGRAM OF PUBLIC RECREATION CONTEM-
PLATED AND PROVIDED FOR BY THIS ACT. THE
SUPERVISOR OF RECREATION SHALL HAVE
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION AT LEAST
EQUAL TO THOSE REQUIRED BY THE STATE DE-
PARTMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE POSITION
OF HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER OF PHYSICAL EDUCA-
TION. The said Supervisor may be removed from office by
the Recreation Commission for Anne Arundel County only
for cause and only after written charges have been filed
with the Board of County Commissioners of Anne Arundel
the Board of County Commissioners of Anne Arundel
County, and a hearing upon due notice to the Supervisor,
at which hearing the said Supervisor shall have the oppor-
tunity to produce evidence in his defense, and be repre-
sented by counsel, and the decision of the Board of County
Commissioners shall be final.

(c) The Recreation Commission shall meet at least once
a month and at such other times as the Supervisor may
deem necessary.

(d) The Recreation Commission shall maintain an office
in the Anne Arundel County Court House which shall be
made available without charge by the County Commis-
sioners of Anne Arundel County.

(e) The Recreation Commission shall appoint a secretary
who shall perform such duties as may be assigned by the
Commission.

437A. (a) The Supervisor of Recreation for Anne

Arundel County shall receive an annual salary of Five

Thousand Dollars ($5, 000. 00) which shall be paid semi-
monthly, and shall receive not more than Fifty Dollars

($50. 00) per month for expenses necessarily incurred in

the performance of his duties as said Supervisor.

(b) The members of the Recreation Commission, other

than the Supervisor of Recreation, shall receive an annual

salary of Three Hundred Dollars ($300. 00).

(c) The Secretary of the Recreation Commission shall
receive an annual salary of Two Thousand Four Hundred
Dollars ($2, 400. 00).
