(e) The Board is empowered to establish an insurance
fund for the purpose of insuring County buildings and
school buildings. Such fund to be set up and made part of
the County budget. Whenever the County shall have sur-
plus money in any account, it may transfer same to the
insurance fund. The insurance fund may be invested in
interest bearing bonds of the Federal, State or County
government.
(f) Any person, firm, association, partnership or cor-
poration convicted of the violation of any ordinance en-
acted by the County Commissioners pursuant to this Act,
shall be subject to a fine of from One ($1) to Five Hundred
Dollars ($500) and imprisonment from one (1) to ninety
(90) days or both.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all laws or parts
of laws inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are
hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That should any sec-
tion, paragraph or sub-paragraph of this Act be declared
null and void, the remaining sections, paragraphs or sub-
paragraphs shall not be affected thereby, it being the in-
tent of this Act that all sections, paragraphs or sub-para-
graphs shall be severable.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.
