events and exhibitions, pony rides, rides on other mechan-
ical devices and swimming pools.

27. 26. Provide for the regulation, control, inspection and
licensing of all hotels, rooming houses, lodging houses,
convalescent homes and day nurseries.

28. 27. Establish a Building Code.

29. 28. Establish an Electrical Code.

30. 29. Establish a Plumbing Code.

31. 30. Establish rules and regulations for the control of
trash and garbage removal.

32. 31. Provide for control of the construction and erec-
tion of billboards and signs on all roads in Prince George's
County.

33. 32. Provide for the number and length of time adver-
tisements and publications shall appear in newspapers.

34. 33. Enact any other ordinance for the safeguard of
life, health and property and for the promotion of public
safety, and moral welfare.

[(c) The Board may establish, in its discretion, any
other department it deems advisable for a more efficient
and economical administration of the public trust, subject
to the provisions of this Act and limitations imposed upon
said Board by law, it being the intent of this section that
the Board delegate its responsibility where such delega-
tion may be feasibly done in order to realize the maximum
advantages to be attained from integrated management of
the officers of the County. The Board is also empowered to
appoint a county manager who shall have general adminis-
trative supervision over all departments of the county
government in the event said board deems such an appoint-
ment feasible and desirable. ]

(c) The Board is empowered to expend up to Fifty Dol-
lars ($50) for the examination of title to each parcel of
property purchased by the County at tax sale.

(d) The Board is empowered to acquire by purchase or
condemnation real or leasehold property needed for any
public purpose and to erect buildings thereon for the bene-
fit of the County and to sell at public or private sale any
real or leasehold property belonging to the County when no
longer needed for public use, but no property shall be sold
until such sale has been advertised for at least twenty (20)
days before date of sale.
