cared for or treated following an operation or sickness and
for such treatment as compensation is paid.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall

take effect June 1, 1953.

SEC. 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT
NOTHING IN THIS ACT SHALL APPLY TO ANY
PLACE LICENSED AND REGULATED BY THIS
STATE.

SEC. 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT
THIS ACT SHALL TAKE EFFECT JUNE 1, 1953.

(House Bill 270)

AN ACT to aid a new section to Article 1 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Allegany County, " sub-title "Circuit Court, " said new
section to be known as Section 60B and to follow im-
mediately after Section 60A of said Article, relating to
the duties of the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Al-
legany County and to the FILING, recording and index-
ing of certain instruments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added
to Article 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Allegany County, " sub-title "Cir-
cuit Court, " said new section to be known as Section 60B,
to follow immediately after Section 60A of said Article,
and to read as follows:

60B. (a) The Clerk of the Circuit Court for Allegany
County is authorized and directed to establish a separate
index of FILED AND recorded Conditional Sale Contracts,
a separate index of recorded Chattel Mortgages and a
