ditioned for the proper disbursement of all moneys belong-
ing to said Town and the faithful performance of all other
duties of said office; such bond to be acceptable whether
given individually or by all three Town Commissioners as
a "blanket" surety bond, and the expense of which shall
be borne by the Town.
51. (Vacancies) If any of said Town Commissioners,
duly elected, shall refuse or neglect to qualify, die, remove
from the Town, resign, or become otherwise disqualified
or unable to perform the duties of his office, his place shall
be declared vacant and shall be filled for the remainder
of his term by the selection of someone possessing the
qualifications for a Town Commissioner aforesaid by the
remaining Town Commissioners. Within ten days after
such appointment, the person so selected shall qualify in
the manner provided in Sections 49 and 50.
52. (Salary) Each Town Commissioner shall receive
a salary of Three Hundred Dollars ($300. 00) per annum,
of which the sum of One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150. 00)
shall be payable out of the General Funds of the Town
and One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150. 00) shall be pay-
able out of the funds of the Electric Plant Department.
But in the event the electric (plant shall ever be sold or
leased as provided in Section 107,................... then the salaries
of the Town Commissioners shall be paid out of the Gen-
eral Funds of the Town.
53. (Officers) The Town Commissioners shall, at the
first regular meeting to be held after the qualification of
each, select from among themselves one person as Presi-
dent, one person as Secretary and one person as Treasurer,
each of whom may perform the duties usually incident
to the office of such an officer in a domestic business
corporation.
54. (Meetings)—The Town Commissioners shall meet
at least once every week in regular session, at such time
as they may determine, to act upon such municipal busi-
ness as may come before them. The Town Commissioners
may meet in special sessions as much oftener as they may
think proper. A majority shall be a quorum for the con-
sideration of municipal business.
55. (Witnesses) The Town Commissioners are author-
ized to summon and compel the attendance of witnesses
and the production of books and papers before them,
