repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
99. (Prince George's County. ) In Prince George's
County, [notwithstanding any other provision of this sub-
title, ] (a) No holder of any retail alcoholic beverage
license shall be permitted to sell any alcoholic beverages
or permit any alcoholic beverages to be consumed on the
licensed premises between the hours of 2: 00 A. M. and
6: 00 A. M. and no holder of any retail alcoholic beverage
license shall be permitted to sell any alcoholic beverage
or permit any alcoholic beverage to be consumed on the
licensed premises between the hours of 12: 00 midnight
on Saturday and 6: 00 A. M. the following Monday, except
that holders of any "On Sale" retail alcoholic beverage
licenses may sell beer and light wine on Sunday between
the hours of 8: 00 A. M. and 12: 00 midnight, and no holder
of a Class A, beer, wine and liquor license shall be per-
mitted to make any sale between the hours of midnight
and 6: 00 A. M., or on Sunday.
(b) The holder of a Class B Beer, Wine and Liquor
License (On Sale—Hotels and Restaurants) shall not be
permitted to sell on Sunday any alcoholic beverages con-
taining more than fourteen per centum of alcohol by
volume.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.
